The ‘Consortium for Advancing LGBTQ+ Health Research, Policy Engagement and Training’ (CARET) is a collective bringing together researchers from The Humsafar Trust, Mumbai (Host Institution); the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh; and the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai; and other partner institutions such as Centre for Sexuality and Health Research and Policy (C-SHaRP). CARET is committed to improving LGBTQ+ health outcomes, addressing health disparities, contributing to effective and evidence-based health policies and programmes, and strengthening a new generation of skilled researchers equipped to conduct policy-relevant studies on LGBTQ+ health.
