The 3rd National and 1st Asia-Pacific Conference on LGBTQI+ Health in India:

The Third National and First Asia-Pacific Conference on LGBTQI+ Health conference was organised from September 26 – 28, 2024, at PGIMER, Chandigarh. This hybrid conference, featuring 14 in-depth sessions, brought together over 100 in-person attendees and several virtual participants who engaged through live-streamed proceedings. The event served as a crucial platform for collaboration among regional stakeholders, policymakers, reseasrchers, healthcare providers, and community advocates, aiming to foster an inclusive approach to healthcare that addresses the unique needs of LGBTQI+ populations across Asia-Pacific. The conference was instrumental in identifying pressing gaps, fostering dialogue, and setting actionable goals for the future of LGBTQI+ health in the Asia-Pacific region.

National-level community consultation on Gender-affirmative Medical Care (GAMC) for transgender population in India:

A one-day national-level community consultation on Gender-affirmative Medical Care (GAMC) was organised on March 17, 2025, in Mumbai. A total of 22 attendees, including a diverse group of trans rights activists, legal experts, healthcare professionals, policy makers, and community representatives, participated in the consultation. The community consultation has yielded several important outcomes, highlighting both progress and ongoing challenges in healthcare access and welfare for transgender people, including transmasculine individuals.
